Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery for Hysterectomy Watch Video >>
Carolina Robotic center
Carolina Robotic center is a division of WHA Midcarolina obstetrics and Gynecology P.A.We specialize in noninvasive gynecologic surgery using the Da Vinci robotic system. We have more robotic surgeons than any private practice in the triangle. This allows us to provide two experienced robotic surgeons to every surgery. We also work in concert with urogyncologist and gynecologic oncologist. Our surgeons were the first to do total laproscopic hysterectomies in the area. With over 300 successful laproscopic hysterectomies completed and 150 robotic hysterectomies, minimally invasive surgery is not new to us. We were the first to do a robotic hysterectomy at Rex Hospital. We were also the first to perform a robotic myomectomy. We are excited to announce that this year we delivered the first successful pregnancy after a robotic myomectomy at Rex Hospital.
The practice is led by Jack Inge, MD and Ruth Wind, MD out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Both Dr. Inge and Dr. Wind are practicing OB/GYN physicians at Rex Hospital. They both have a considerable amount of experience in laparoscopic surgical procedures.
The development of the Da Vinci robot has taken surgery to a new level. We are able to perform complicated surgeries that could only be performed with open abdominal incisions in the past. We are proud to be able to provide advanced healthcare on the cutting edge of technology.
